Indigenous sustainable farming system was introduced by Fatu pondo Foundation to empower those in need in the rural area of Liberia to produce their own essential food.
In the absence of modern farming machinery, we used hand tools to tilt the earth; Fatu Pondo Foundation understands that the best way to eradicate poverty and hunger is to empower those in need to learn how to produce their own essential food. Basic human subsistence is met from the land through farming which bears significantly upon those in need in the rural area of Liberia.
Our goal is to change the ways we fuel and feed those in need by empowering them to produce for themselves which will lead to sustainable self-reliant and poverty reduction.
